Together with Project Healing Waters, the Upward Charitable Foundation hosted a one-day fly fishing event in Kremmling, Colorado. Project Healing Waters is an organization dedicated to rehabilitating wounded veterans through fly fishing. The veterans arrived sooner than anticipated as this was their first event in about 2 years. To start the event, the group socialized over food donated by local restaurants. Following breakfast, our founder, Hudson Stolz, shared a heartfelt note to the veterans. The group then headed down to the water. Together, they fished reeling in fish after fish and then headed back to the basecamp for lunch. Tim Thomson prepared this wonderful lunch which was complimented by sides from Middle Park Meat Company. After a social, lunch outside, the veterans headed back to the ponds and fished to their hearts' content.
A special thank you to the Project Healing Waters chapter based in Eagle, Colorado.
